Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of our most frequently asked questions
Is there a guarantee that CostWise service will lower our cloud operating costs?
YES! If we can’t hit the agreed minimum cost savings, you won’t pay a dime. We’re confident in our ability to help you save, and we only charge when we deliver results.
How much does your consulting service cost?
Our pricing is tailored to each client’s specific needs and the scope of the project. We can provide a detailed quote after an initial consultation. Our prices are always fixed, and transparent with no strings attached.
Which cloud provider do you work with?
We have expertise in all the major public cloud providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
How long does the process take?
It depends on a few factors including the complexity and size of your infrastructure. Our way of working is intense and typically most of our engagements take about 2 to 3 weeks. We do an assessment before we begin our work and we can provide you with a more accurate estimate of the delivery after the assessment.
How do you assess our current cloud usage and costs?
We perform a surgical audit of your cloud environment, reviewing patterns, resource allocation, billing statements, and your workload architecture etc, to identify realistic cost-saving opportunities. What we mean by realistic is that we recognise the reality of any architecture isn’t perfect and re-designing the entire stack to save cost may not be a viable option given the priority of the team as such our recommendations are often achieved with minimal adjustments with little to no interruption in your team’s day-to-day operation.
What are the typical savings we can expect?
How much you save can vary widely depending on your current cloud usage and the inefficiencies present. On average, we have helped clients to save between 25-45% reduction on their cloud monthly invoices.
